How we build

Every Desert App starts from the same promises.

📡

Offline first

Wherever possible, our apps keep working without an internet connection, so they're ready when you need them.

🔒

Your data stays yours

No account needed, and what you record stays on your device. Some free apps may show a few adverts; paid apps never do.

💳

Pay once

A free trial, then a once-off licence. No subscriptions, and updates are free.

💻

Any device

Built to run well on everyday phones and computers, not just the newest and most expensive ones.

About Desert Apps

Desert Apps is the app side of Grid 3D, a small maker business in Aggeneys, in the Northern Cape. We build the tools we want to use ourselves, keep them simple, and test them properly before they reach you.

Our apps are sold directly from the Grid 3D store, not the Play Store, so there's no middleman and no Google account needed.
